Once the twins and Michael moved on from Jour et Nuit, they pursued a summer opportunity in the Hamptons.They joined the promotional team at the Southampton hotspot “Dune” run by Noah Teppenberg and Jason Strauss.
After a successful summer in the Hamptons, having gained even more knowledge from two veteran operators, the twins were ready to recreate Day& Night. With Michael Wainstein’s support, Dual Groupe was formed.

HAUTE NIGHTS: Mike Bugout @ Kastel & Veranda, December 10th, 2011

I ran into a fellow promoter Nathan at LAVO for Tiesto and he invited me to come check out a new party his group Ibizafest NYC was doing at Kastel, a lounge space at Trump Soho. I never really considered that space as an option for a night out. However, I decided to check it out. I must say they did a great job filling the space with a good looking high energy crowd.
They booked up and coming DJ Mike Bugout to spin the main set. Mike has opened for a lot of really big name DJ’s at Pacha. Erik Morillo even dropped in to show Mike some love before his set that night at Pacha. Mike’s set was a uptempo house mix that kept the crowd moving for as long as I was there.
I give the promo team a lot of credit for doing a great job on a space many people overlooked. It’s worth checking out, could also be a good pre party option for those headed to Greenhouse and W.I.P. which are just down the street.
My group of girls was having a great time there, but it was time to head to Veranda which is my usual Saturday night spot. Veranda was jumping a usual and the vibe was awesome. Check out all the photos from our night.
